consumerism
- febreeze apple cinnamon plug-in device: can confirm that my room smells like apples and cinnamon.
- pumpkin roll sugar scrub: smells nice. burnt dystopia orange.
snickerdoodles | did a half-batch and got a dozen very large cookies. be mindful of how much they spread. also added 2tbsp hazelnut syrup; not prominent flavor, but played the same 'background' role as vanilla.
pumpkin streusel coffee cake | definitely reduce sugar. made a 'liquid' variation with chocolate pudding, pumpkin puree, ginger, and clove.
20260823 - watched "when harry met sally." i would like to know why that was at the top of that "fall movie list" i found on pinterest. this is a romcom that takes place in nyc; absolutely nothing about this made me think about autumn.
20260823 - made muffins with peaches, cardamom, cinnamon; brown sugar instead of white sugar; powdered milk + water.
